New Mercury Unified Wired™ system and groundbreaking integrations get rave reviews

LifeSafety Power®, a Gold Sponsor of PSA-TEC 2017 in Westminster, Colo., and a Premier Vendor Partner for PSA Security Network generated significant attendee buzz over new intelligent networking solutions and also received awards from the organization during the annual networking and educational event.

The reason for so much excitement over LSP during exhibit hours? New integrations and greater possibilities for proactive power analysis, remote system management, system reliability and cost savings, thanks to key development partnerships with globally specified Authentic Mercury Security controllers, Software House by Tyco CCURE 9000 and the Unified Wired™ Mercury system.LifeSafety Power PSA TEC 2017 booth thank mercury

The Unified Wired system fully and completely integrates power and access control in a pre-wired solution connecting lock and system power to Mercury terminal strips. This equals time and labor savings in the field and expedites physical security access power specifications. In addition, LSP showcased native software integrations with Mercury Security hardware, bringing predictive analytics seamlessly to the Mercury EP controller family. Another native integration, this one with the Software House CCURE 9000 solution was also highlighted during PSA-TEC. This connectivity allows users to receive and centrally manage alerts for comprehensive monitoring and control of the Software House Power Distribution System. Helix Armour™ a new category of DC and now AC redundant power management systems were also on display – emphasizing operational efficiency and the ability to maximize system uptime.

Awards and accolades

LifeSafety Power was honored to receive a Vendor Star Award for outstanding support of the PSA Security Network community and Customer Service Representative Damien January was a nominee and finalist for the Customer Service Individual Excellence Award, recognized by PSA membership for outstanding customer support.

It’s clear that progressive systems integrators recognize the importance of power as the brain and continuity of every system solution as we continue to redefine the product category from static hardware to mission critical device. Stay tuned for new developments in the coming months and as we head to ASIS 2017, September 25 through 28 in Dallas (Booth 1341).

PSA Security Integrators ‘Get It’

They recognize the value of networked power solutions

PSA TEC, the quintessential educational and networking conference for systems integrators produced by PSA Security Network, Westminster, Colo., is in the record books, but the excitement from the show is still fresh.

Not only did we walk away with new integrator partners, but we also received an Outstanding Vendor Partner of the Year Award. Joe Holland, co-founder of LifeSafety Power®and vice president of Engineering accepted the award from PSA’s Craig Patterson, director of Vendor Management. The Vendor Award winners were selected by PSA owner companies based on rankings for pricing, shipping, support, lead generation, returns and product performance. The 2016 awards were issued during the Vendor Awards Luncheon on May 10. LifeSafety Power also recently attained status as a Premier PSA Network Vendor.

The award was quite significant in that it’s based on feedback gathered from integrator-customers. “It’s not simply an internal award,” Holland said. “It’s the customer base of PSA Security and the integrators who select the winners based on their experience with our company and how they perceive our innovative products,” he added.

New LSP certification course unveiled

Holland kicked off LifeSafety Power’s educational session participation at PSA TEC on May 9 with a LifeSafety Power Certification Course, newly created and recognized as qualifying to earn BICSI technicians certification credits for their credentialing. Some heavy-hitter integration companies were on hand to learn about the LifeSafety Power approach to power management, design and installation, and of course, managed services with networked power solutions.

During exhibits, the booth was a constant flurry of activity and it was evident that those who visited appreciated and understood the rewards LifeSafety Power products bring through managed services, including the ability to receive emailed notifications of system status and other real-time reports.

Managed services take center stage

At the booth, LifeSafety Power showcased its patented NetLink® remote communications module as well as the Flexpower® Multi-Site Manager which collects, consolidates and displays information by NetLink on a single computer screen from multiple devices. Also on display was the award-winning FlexPower Gemini RGM small footprint rackmount solution that integrates all components within the enclosure and meets cUL and UL listings for the integral design.

“PSA Security Network and its members continue to be a fantastic avenue of success for us,” said John Olliver, senior vice president of Sales and Business Development. “We're always impressed with the quality of integration companies who are part of the organization and look forward to helping them increase their profitability and recurring monthly revenue with networked power solutions.”
