New partnership unifies power, lock outputs and ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA controllers for project consistency and labor savings

LifeSafety Power announced a new technology alliance with ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA, expanding its ProWire® solutions to integrate ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA NTX series controllers. ProWire is LifeSafety Power’s premier prewired enclosure – incorporating the latest engineering techniques and features to streamline power installations for professional, standardized results.
ProWire solutions feature pre-terminated wiring harnesses, saving field cabinet wiring time and promoting consistent, easier-toservice installations across campuses or multiple locations. ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA, Berlin, Conn., provides a complete line of high-performance commercial door hardware and access control solutions.
The new LifeSafety Power ASSA ABLOY ACCENTRA ProWire prewired system allows security integrators to achieve the advantages of prewiring in a single chassis coordinating electrical and mechanical integration. Factory installed and tested preterminated wiring harnesses enable plug-and-play connection to the controller board. A removable back plate with color-coded controller wiring connects lock outputs, RS485 communication, faults and tamper switch for fast and accurate field work. The enclosure also includes space for LifeSafety Power NetLink® Network Connectivity modules for intelligent managed power. NetLink technology enables detailed power health reporting, remote troubleshooting and battery testing, email/SNMP alerts and other proactive and predictive data.
